The cottage

Old soul.
Considered comfort.

Original stone, exposed beams and painted floorboards sit alongside lime-plastered walls, natural textures and a calm, modern palette.

Dunroamin has been thoughtfully interior-designed as a warm, characterful retreat: timeless enough to feel part of Staithes, comfortable enough to settle into immediately.

Room to rest

Soft linen, old beams and a quieter pace.

The main bedroom overlooks the courtyard. A second, compact room has a double bed that can become two small singles for children. Upstairs, restored floorboards and soft neutral tones keep things calm and simple.

The village

Where the moors
meet the sea.

Tucked into a steep-sided valley, Staithes is made for wandering: cobbled lanes, artists' studios, a small beach and the Cleveland Way unfolding above the harbour.

Dunroamin sits in the old village, close to independent cafés, pubs and the water, with the North York Moors National Park all around.

Good to know

Small, historic
and full of quirks.

01

Low in places

Ground-floor ceilings and doorways are around 190cm, with sloping ceilings upstairs.

02

Compact by design

The spaces are clever and cosy rather than expansive—an authentic old Staithes cottage.

03

Park above

A permit is provided for Bank Top public car park; the old village is best enjoyed on foot.
